Medical Director
Lorraine M. Rudder, M.D. is definitive REHAB’s medical director. Dr. Rudder is board certified by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She received
her undergraduate degree from Rice University
in sports medicine in 1988 and her doctorate
in medicine from the University of Texas Health
Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Rudder
attended residency at the Affiliated Hospitals
of Ba ylor College of Medicine in Houston,one
of the nation’s top PM&R
programs in 1992. She completed her residency
in 1996. After residency, Dr. Rudder accepted
anassociate professor position at the University
of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort
Worth. Dr. Rudder co-directed a 20 bed in-patient rehabilitation unit and a busy out-patient clinic at UNTHSC. In addition, Dr. Rudder lectured medical students on topics in neuromuscular anatomy, lead ethics discussions, and served as compliance director of her department. She founded definitive REHAB & painmanagement in January 2005.
Physical Therapist
Marcy
M. Maines, MPT is definitive REHAB’s
physical therapist. Ms. Maines received a
Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology
from Texas A&M University. Later,
she receive a Bachelor of Science in Health
Care Sciences and a Master of Physical Therapy
from the University of Texas Medical Branch
in Galveston. Ms. Maines was licensed
in May 2000. Her work experience includes
one year at the Tom Landry Center—Baylor
Hospital and three years at Medical City Dallas
Hospital. She joined the definitive REHAB team
after a two year stint as the area manager,
training therapist, and treating therapist
of several home health care agencies. Ms.
Maines lives in Red Oak and is excited to
now serve patients in the community in which
she lives. |
